GRUPPENAUSSTELLUNG MITTENDRIN DER STATTGALERIE IM KUNSTFORUM HERMANN STENNER

Die Ausstellung Pentimenti mit Nicole Egerts neuestem Werk wird im Raum G gezeigt.
Pentimenti entstehen, weil der Künstler während des Arbeitsprozesses mit der Komposition, der Linie, der Form und der Farbe um die in seinem Sinn ideale Wiedergabe eines Bildgedankens ringt. Um „unser Ringen" während der Produktion von Kunst soll es hier gehen. Wir fassen die Bedeutung des Pentimenti etwas weiter auf und beschäftigen uns mit jeglichen Veränderungen am schlecht geratenen Bild, die das Bild im weiteren Prozess zu einem guten Werk machen. Der Ursprung sollte aber erkennbar sein. Ist ein Bild "vollständig" mit einem anderen übermalt, trifft es das nach der o.g. Definition zwar, ist hier aber nicht unbedingt gemeint, da man das Pentimenti - also die Veränderung als solche - nicht mehr erkennt.

Die Ausstellung wird an drei weiteren Orten zu sehen sein.

The exhibition Pentimenti with Nicole Egerts newest work will be shown in Room G.

Pentimenti are created because during the working process the artist wrestles with the composition, the line, the form and the color for what he considers to be the ideal representation of a pictorial idea. This is about "our struggles" during the production of art. We take the meaning of the pentimenti a little further and deal with any changes to the badly turned out image that make the image a good work in the further process. The origin should but be recognizable. If a picture is "completely" painted over with another, it does according to the above definition, but is not necessarily meant here, since the pentimenti - i.e. the change as such - is no longer recognizable.

The exhibition will be shown at three other locations.
